1

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser to remember information about your visit. Similar technologies, such as the browser’s local storage (localStorage and sessionStorage), serve the same purpose and are treated the same way in this notice.

This notice complements the Semantix Privacy Policy, which explains how we process website browsing data.

2

How the Semantix website uses cookies

The website uses cookies and similar technologies in two categories. Necessary ones keep the website running securely and remember your choices, and do not require permission. Analytics and marketing cookies, from Google Analytics and HubSpot, help Semantix understand how the website is used and follow interest in its services, and are only enabled if you accept them in the notice shown on your first visit.

Server access logs

As with any website, the servers that publish the Semantix website log technical data about each request, such as IP address, browser type, page requested, referring page and time. These logs do not use cookies; they are used to protect the website against attacks and to keep it running, and they are kept under the Semantix Data Retention and Disposal Policy.

4

How to control cookies

You choose whether to accept analytics and marketing cookies in the notice shown on your first visit, and you can change your choice at any time in Cookie preferences, in the website footer or with the button at the end of this page. When you withdraw consent, the Google Analytics and HubSpot cookies are deleted. You can also delete or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings. If you block the reCAPTCHA cookies, the website forms may not be sent; in that case, contact us at encarregado@semantix.ai.

5

Changes and contact

Semantix may update this notice whenever the cookies used on the website change. If you have any questions, or to exercise your rights as a data subject, contact our Data Protection Officer, Denise Tavares, at encarregado@semantix.ai.
